Privacy notice for the contact form

What we process

We process what you enter into the form: usually your name, email address, your role or organisation, and your message. Depending on the form this may also include a phone number, a specialty, or a preferred appointment time.

Please do not send us patient data or special categories of personal data through this form. For confidential matters, tell us and we will point you to a suitable route.

Purposes and legal bases

We process your details in order to handle your enquiry and reply to you.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries reliably.

Who receives your data

Within our company, only the people responsible for answering have access.

For transmission and storage we use carefully selected service providers acting as processors. Your details are stored on servers in Frankfurt am Main. No transfer to countries outside the EU takes place.

How long we keep your data

We keep your enquiry for as long as it is needed to deal with it, and at most twelve months. After that it is deleted automatically.

If your enquiry leads to a contract, statutory retention periods apply, in particular under commercial and tax law.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted, or its processing restricted. You may object to the processing and request your data in a common format.

Contact our data protection officer to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the state where you usually reside.

Providing your data is voluntary. However, without the fields marked as required we cannot deal with your enquiry.
